The focus of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) 59th Annual Scientific Sessions was on patient-centeredd care with an interactive approach. Spotlight sessions to highlight specific subject areas were designed to help attendees develop new perspective on approaches in medical research and focussed on cardiac care, atrial fibrillation, health technology, coronary disease, and structural heart issues. Joint sessions with the i2Summit highlighted interventional advances of interest to general cardiologists and live case sessions demonstrated the latest interventional techniques.
